Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Tiny Little Notes account and what happens to your data.
Important: Account deletion is permanent. After the 30-day grace period, all your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Account

Open the App
Launch Tiny Little Notes on your device and make sure you're signed in.

Go to Settings
Tap the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen.

Open Privacy & Security
Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.

Find the Danger Zone
Scroll to the bottom of the Privacy & Security screen to find the Danger Zone section.

Tap Delete Account
Tap the Delete Account button. You'll see a summary of all the data that will be deleted.

Confirm with Your Password
Enter your account password to confirm the deletion request. You can optionally provide a reason for leaving.
Tip: Before deleting your account, we recommend using the Export My Data feature in Privacy & Security to download a copy of all your data.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information - Your email address and login credentials
- Profiles - All profiles you've created for people in your life
- Notes - All personal notes attached to profiles
- Photos - All photos uploaded to profiles
- Important Dates - Birthdays, anniversaries, and custom dates
- Groups - Custom categories you've created
- Preferences - All stored preferences (food, entertainment, gifts, etc.)
- AI Chat History - Any conversations with the AI Assistant
- Shared Profile Links - Any active share links will stop working
30-Day Grace Period
After you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period:
- Your account will remain active during this period
- You can continue using the app normally
- You can cancel the deletion at any time by returning to Privacy & Security
- After 30 days, deletion is automatic and irreversible
You'll receive email notifications reminding you of the upcoming deletion.
Can't Access the App?
If you're unable to access the app or your account, you can request account deletion by contacting us directly.

Data Retention After Deletion
After your account is deleted:
- Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of the grace period ending
- Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 2 years (this data cannot identify you)
- Backup copies are purged within 90 days
- Legal records may be retained if required by law
