Our Commitment
We believe everyone deserves to remember the details that matter about the people they love. We are committed to making Tiny Little Notes accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.
Supported Features
The following accessibility features are fully supported today:
Dark Interface
Tiny Little Notes offers a full dark mode that covers every screen in the app. You can choose between light, dark, or system-matched themes in Settings. Dark mode reduces eye strain for users with light sensitivity and is supported across all app features.
Differentiate Without Color Alone
We use icons, labels, and shape alongside color to convey meaning throughout the app. Status indicators, error messages, and interactive elements never rely on color alone, making the app usable for people with color vision deficiencies.
Sufficient Contrast
Text and interactive elements are designed with clear contrast against their backgrounds in both light and dark modes. Our color palette is chosen to support readability in a variety of lighting conditions.
In Active Development
We are actively working to support the following features. Our accessibility infrastructure is built and we are rolling out coverage across the entire app:
VoiceOver
We have built accessibility label infrastructure and are expanding VoiceOver support to all screens and interactive elements so users can navigate the full app with Apple's screen reader.
Voice Control
As we expand our accessibility labels for VoiceOver, Voice Control support will improve in parallel, allowing users to navigate and interact with the app using only their voice.
Larger Text
We have built a dynamic type system that responds to iOS text size settings. We are extending this across all screens to ensure layouts remain usable at the largest accessibility text sizes.
Reduced Motion
We have built hooks that detect the system Reduce Motion preference. We are updating all animations to respect this setting, replacing motion-heavy transitions with simple fades or instant changes.
Captions and Audio Descriptions
Tiny Little Notes does not currently include video or audio content. If we add media in the future, we will include captions and audio descriptions.
